Nobuo Takaramura (L), president, Management Promotion Council of the Ryukyu Islands (MPCRI), announced May 24 that "through the Management Development Program... the managers and supervisors elevate the standards of their managerial techniques, and contributed greatly to the Ryukyuan economy". The program begun here last September ended May 20 with the participation of 311 Ryukyuan and American businessmen and 41 leading Ryukyuan enterprises. The program was jointly sponsored by the U.S. Civil Administration of the Ryukyu Islands (USCAR) and the MPCRI with the co-operation of the Council for International Progress in Management (CIPM) of New York. Henry J. Pilgrim (R) a management consultant formerly with the Stanford Research Institute, Menlo Park, Calif., gave the finishing touch to the program by conducting the final series of management seminars and consultations.

琉球列島経営振興会(MPCRI)の宝村信雄会長(左)は5月24日、以下のように発表、「経営者啓発プログラムを通して、経営者とスーパーバイザーが彼らの経営技術の基準を底上げすることで、琉球の経済に大きく貢献することができた。この場所で去年の9月より始まり、3月20日に終了した同プログラムには311名の琉球人とアメリカ人ビジネスマン及び41の大企業が参加した。同プログラムは琉球列島米国民政府と琉球列島経営振興会との共同後援で、ニューヨークの国際経営改善協議会の協力を通して行なわれた。ヘンリー・J・ピルグリム氏(右)は経営コンサルタントで以前はカリフォルニア州メンローパークス在タンフォード研究所所属し、同プログラムを経営セミナーと相談をもって、最終的なシリーズ締めくくった」。
