Schuyler Y. Spaulding (standing), management training specialist, one of three currently visiting American management experts, is explaining a chart at a seminar at the Makishi Branch Office of the Bank of Okinawa on March 11. His seminar and consultation for in-plant training directors is a part of a continuing management development program being jointly sponsored by the U.S. Civil Administration of the Ryukyu Islands (USCAR) and the Management Promotion Council of the Ryukyu Islands (MPCRI), through the cooperation of the Council for International Progress in Management, New York. Participants at the seminar were representatives of the Hoshi Printing Co., Ryukyu Central Warehouse Co., Ryukyu Development Loan Corp., Okinawa Gas Co., Daiichi Clothing Co., and Oriental Tobacco Co.

経営研修専門家のシュイラー・Y・スポールディング氏(立っている)は現在訪れている3名のアメリカ人経営専門家のうちの1名であり、3月11日に沖縄銀行牧志支店にて、セミナー中に図の説明をしているところである。工場内の研修指導者を対象とした彼のセミナー及び相談会は進行中の経営者啓発継続プログラムの一部で、琉球列島米国民政府と琉球列島経営振興会との共同後援で、ニューヨークの国際経営改善協議会の協力を通して行なわれた。
