members and representatives of the U.S. Civil Administration (USCAR) met Mar. 1 to discuss final plans for the presentation of three concerts by the Cornell University Glee Club. The famous 40-man singing group is scheduled to arrive on Okinawa Mar. 30, and will present concerts in Naha and Koza under the auspices of the U.S. State Department's Educational; and Cultural Exchange Program. The glee club will be sponsored locally by the Rotary Clubs International of Okinawa, through the cooperation of USCAR. 国際ロータリークラブ沖縄分区会員と琉球列島米国民政府の担当者が3月1日に会合を開き、コーネル大学グリークラブによる3つの公演の最終調整を行った。著名な40名の合唱団3月30日に沖縄へ到着予定で、米国国務省教育省と文化交流プログラムの後援により、那覇とコザで公演を行う。地元公演では、国際ロータリークラブが琉球列島米国民政府の協力を得て同グリークラブを後援する。
