HAWAII JUNIOR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PRESIDENT YUKIO NAITO (C) reads a statement during a news conference at the Executive Building in Naha, Okinawa, April 17, at the conclusion of his six-man Jaycee delegation's visit to the Ryukyu Islands to participate in the Second Hawaii-Okinawa Junior Chamber (Jaycee) Workshop. Facing camera at left is Mr. Takashi Arimura, current president, Okinawa Junior Chamber of Commerce; at right is Mr. Masato Kamisato, immediate past president, Hawaii Junior Chamber of Commerce. The Hawaii Jaycees are currently organized into 23 chapters, with two more about to be organized, with a total membership of almost 2,000 young, dynamic business and civic leaders under 40 years of age. The visit was made possible through the assistance and coordination of the U.S. Army, Pacific headquarters in Honolulu, Hawaii, and the Office of the High Commissioner of the Ryukyu Islands. The Hawaiian group departed April 18 from Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, aboard a Military Air Transport Service plane for Tokyo, Japan where they will stay a few days before flying back to Honolulu. ≪第二回ハワイ沖縄青年会議所合同研究会はハワイから6名の代表者が参加して琉球東急ホテルで開催された。写真は4月17日琉球政府第一記者クラブで行われた。記者会見で内藤ユキオ氏（中央、ハワイ州青年会議所会頭）がステートメントを発表しているところ。カメラに向かって左は有村喬（沖縄青年会議所会頭）、右は神里マサト（ハワイ青年会議所直前会頭）。現在ハワイ青年会議所は23の支部があり、近いうちに更に二つの会議所が設立されることになっている。その会員は40才以下の青年実業家や民間の指導者からなっており、総数は約2千名である。ハワイ代表の来沖はハワイホノルル在の米太平洋軍司令部と琉球列島高等弁務官府の協力と援助で実現した。一行は4月18日に沖縄の嘉手納空軍基地から軍用機で東京に向かったが、そこで2、3日滞在してホノルルへ向かう。≫
