GOVERNOR JOHN A. BURNS OF HAWAII, escorted by High Commissioner Paul W. Caraway, arrived via Army helicopter at the heliport on the roof of the Executive Bldg., Naha, Okinawa to meet with Chief Executive Seisaku Ota of the Government of the Ryukyu Islands on June 14. ≪ジョン A バーンズハワイ州知事は6月14日大田政作琉球政府行政主席と会うためポールW.キャラウェイ高等弁務官に伴われて沖縄那覇市の行政府ビル屋上のヘリポートに米陸軍のヘリコプターで到着した。≫
GOVERNOR JOHN A. BURNS OF HAWAII, accompanied by Mrs. Burns; Mr. Daniel T. Aoki, his administrative aide; and, Hawaii State Representative Toshio Serizawa, visited Okinawa on June 13 and 14 during the governor's tour of the Far East on behalf of promotion of tourism and commerce to Hawaii and the mainland United States. On Okinawa, the Governor made courtesy calls on leading U.S. and Ryukyuan officials, and met with local business and civil leaders and groups, and with United States Army, Air Force, Marine and Navy military and civilian personnel from Hawaii stationed on Okinawa. The Governor was honored at social affairs hosted by High Commissioner Paul W.
