HEALTH CENTERS--Two additional strides in bringing medical care closer to the Ryukyuan people occurred Monday, Apr. 16, with the opening of health centers in Toguchi and Kin villages. The two structures were built at a cost of $12,000 each from U.S. Government funds. Shown making a speech at the Kin Health Center is Col. William P. Wansbor, Assistant Civil Administrator. The new health center will operate under the direction of the Nago District Health Center.

保健所－4月16日月曜日、渡久地と金武村に保健所が開設され、琉球人へ医療をより身近に提供するさらなる一歩が踏み出された。両施設とも建設費用は米国政府からの資金で、それぞれ12,000ドル。金武村の保健所で祝辞を述べる高等弁務官事務所補佐官ウィリアム・P・ワンズボロ大佐。新しいヘルスセンターは、名護地区ヘルスセンターの指導の下で運営される。
