VOLUNTARY LEPER RELIEF GROUP FROM OSAKA DENTAL COLLEGE ARRIVES --A 16-member Voluntary leper relief group from Osaka Dental College arrived on Okinawa by special military plane on July 15. This is the second time that the college has sent a voluntary group to give free dental treatment to victims of Hansens Disease the first group treated 400 inmates of Airaku-En in northern Okinawa. The group comprised of 10 dentists and 6 students stayed 20 days and gave dental treatment to some 350 inmates of Nansei-En in Miyako and to inmates of Airaku-En. The group presented ¥500,000 (some $l,390) worth of transister radios, medicine, baseball equipment and others to Nansei-En.

【和訳】日本人歯科医療グループの到着
大阪歯科大学のハンセン病救済ボランティア団が到着－7月15日、大阪歯科大学のハンセン病救済ボランティアグループの16人が特別軍用機で沖縄に到着。同大学による2回目のボランティア派遣で、ハンセン病患者の歯科治療にあたった。第1回目では沖縄の北部にある愛楽園で400名を治療。今回は20日間滞在し、歯科医師10名と学生6名が宮古の南静園の入所者約350名と愛楽園の入所者に歯科治療を行った。また、グループは南静園に50万円相当（およそ1390ドル）の無線機、薬品、野球道具などを贈呈した。
