As soon as you were notified by the Futenma Police Station of the robbery and attempted rape incident which occurred on 9 February 1967 in the off-post housing area at Aza-Oyama, Ginowan-Shi, you have positively cooperated in the investigation. Overcoming the difficulties you discovered a portion of the stolen property in Kin-Son and you have contributed greatly in the apprehension of the culprit. Furthermore you have assisted in solving the burglary and other crimes involving the culprit.

Your effort and cooperation with Police Department provided clues in arresting an atrocious criminal. In recognition of your meritorious services I take great pleasure in presenting you with this letter and a memento.
