Ryukyuan Boy Scouts held the annual Boy Scout Leadership Day on March 30. Scouts from seven troops were represented at 24 government and business organizations including the offices of the Chief Executive of the Government of the Ryukyu Islands (GRI), GRI legislative speaker, GRI chief justice, Naha mayor, Naha fire marshal, secretary general of the Ryukyu Chamber of Commerce, chief of the Ryukyus Weather Bureau, director of the Naha Hospital, chief of the Ryukyu Quarantine Station, Naha customs director, cultural properties protection commissioner, GRI immigration bureau chief, president of the Ryukyu Telephone and Telegraph Corp., president of the Ryukyu Development Loan Corp., Naha postmaster, executive director of the Ryukyu Anti-Tuberculosis Association, presidents of the Bank of the Ryukyus, Bank of Okinawa and Chuo Sogo Bank, editors of the Okinawa Times and the Ryukyu Shimpo, program directors of the Ryukyu Broadcasting Corp. and Okinawa Television Co., and GRI Police Hq. Chief. The Ryukyuan Boy Scouts have 18 cub Scout packs, 67 boy Scout troops, and 15 explorer posts, for a total of 100 units with an enrollment of nearly 3,000 boys; and several more units are now being organized.

3月30日、琉球ボーイスカウトは毎年恒例のボーイスカウト一日指導者の日を開催。7つのトゥループ隊が24の行政や企業団体の代表を務め、その中には、琉球政府行政主席官房、琉球政府立法院議長、琉球政府主席判事、那覇市長、那覇消防長官、琉球商工会議所の事務局長、那覇病院局長、琉球検疫所長、那覇関税局長、文化財保護局長、琉球政府出入管理庁長、琉球電信電話公社社長、琉球開発金融公社社長、那覇郵政局長、琉球結核予防会理事、琉球銀行、沖縄銀行、中央相互銀行、沖縄タイムス及び琉球新報社の社長、琉球放送及び沖縄テレビの編成局長、琉球政府警察本部本部長があった。琉球ボーイスカウトは18のカブスカウトパック隊、67のトゥループ隊と15のエクスプローラーポスト隊を持ち、合計3000名の少年たちが参加する100の部隊がある。そしてさらにいくつかの部隊が編成されている。
