【原文解説】Part 1: Shows sunken German ships in the Kiel (German) Harbor; the "Europa" at Bremerhaven, Germany; a midget German submarine at Copenhagen, Denmark; and scenes of the Belsen Concentration Camp. Displaced persons are fed and treated; POW's remove dead DP's; buildings are burned to fight disease. Part 2: Shows the use of a rocket booster to speed falling bombs. Part 3: Shows camouflaged German pillboxes in Cortina, Italy. Part 4: Italians learn land mine removal and clear their farms. Part 5: Describes and demonstrates the T-66 rocket launcher and the 4.5 inch rocket. Part 6: A jungle rescue team treats a pilot in Burma, clears a helicopter landing area, and evacuates the flyer. Part 7: In the Philippines, Nimitz and MacArthur meet in Manila (May 15); General Kenney meets Mexican pilots. Shows many scenes of captured Japanese airplanes (SFR Part 7).
