VISITING HAWAIIAN SPECIALIST in home ceonomics and consumer marketing, Miss Eleanor A. Matsumoto (R) lectures on "Markets the 1960's in America" at the home economic class, University of the Ryukyus. Helping Miss Matsumoto in a Japanese explanation is Miss Toyoko Zamami, Agricultural improvement section, Economics Department, GRI. Miss Matsumoto said in her lecture, "With the increase of the population and industry, women will be required to learn more about consumer marketing." Miss Matsumoto was here for two weeks under a U.S. technical assistance program for the Ryukyuan people sponsored by U.S. Army Pacific headquarters in Hawaii in coordination with the Office of the High Commissioner.
【和訳】琉球大学の家政学の授業で「1960年代の米国市場」について講義する、ハワイの家政学と消費者マーケティング専門家エレノア・A・マツモト（右）。日本語での説明に協力するのは、琉球政府経済局農業改良課ザマミ・トヨコ。マツモトは講義の中で「人口と産業の増加に伴い、女性は消費者マーケティングについてもっと学ぶ必要がある 」と述べた。マツモトはハワイの米太平洋陸軍司令部が高等弁務官事務所との協力による琉球の人々に向けた米国技術支援事業で、2週間滞在した。
