ARRIVAL OF JCI PRESIDENT -- Mr. Eric H. Stevenson of Scotland (2nd from R), president of the Junior Chamber International (JCI), arrived at Naha Civil Air Terminal on Monday, May 20, from Taipei, while on a tour of Jaycee Chapters in the Far East. Mr. Stevenson met with the Okinawa Junior Chamber of Commerce, High Commissioner Paul W. Caraway, Civil Administrator Shannon McCune, Chief Executive Seisaku Ota and other top U.S. and Ryukyuan officials during his two-day visit. He departed May 21. The JCI is composed of 320,000 members in 75 countries. At right is Mr. Shigeru Miyazato, president of the Okinawa Junior Chamber of Commerce. 【和訳】国際青年会議所(JCI)会頭のスコットランドのエリック・H・スティーブンソン(右から2人目)が5月20日月曜日、極東地域の青年会議所支部を視察するため、台北から那覇空港に到着した。スティーブンソン会頭は2日間の滞在中、沖縄青年会議所、ポール・W・キャラウェイ高等弁務官、シャノン・マキューン民政官、大田政作行政主席をはじめとする琉米のトップと会談し、5月21日に離沖した。JCIは75カ国、32万人の会員で構成されている。他は左から沖縄青年会議所ヒガシモリ・リョウコウ副会頭、沖縄青年会議所セラ・ミノル顧問。右は沖縄青年会議所ミヤザト・シゲル会頭。
