WHO EDUCATOR LECTURES NAHA NURSES, INSTRUCTORS -- Donald Johnson (L), health educator, World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for the Western Pacific in Manila, Philippines, lectures some 50 nursing instructors and students on health education at the Naha Nursing School at Yogi, Naha, on Feb. 27. Interpreting is Edward M. Kaneshima, Health, Education and Welfare Dept., U.S. Civil Administration of the Ryukyus ( USCAR). The health educator is making a five-day visit at the invitation of the Okinawa Public Health Association (OPHA) and USCAR. Mr. Johnson, as a guest speaker, will also lecture on "Community Activity in Public Health" at an OPHA-Sponsored Science Congress at the Ryukyu Life Insurance Co. Building at Matsuo, Naha, Feb. 28. ≪講演－写真は西太平洋地域世界保健機構（WHO)のドナルド・ジョンソン保健教育官（左）が、2月27日、那覇市内の那覇看護学校で約50人の看護学生や教官を対象に保健教育に関する講演を行っているところ。右側は米国民政府厚生教育局のエドワード・M・カネシマ氏。ジョンソン氏は沖縄公衆衛生協会および米国民政府の招聘で2月25日に来島し、沖縄に5日間滞在する。なお、同氏は2月28日那覇市内の琉球生命ビルで催される沖縄公衆衛生協会主催の公衆衛生学会で「地域社会における公衆衛生活動」と題して講演することになっている。≫
