CONGRATULATORY SPEECH -- Dr. (Col.) Robert T. Jensen (L), director of the Health, Education and Welfare Dept. (HEW), U.S. Civil Administration of the Ryukyus (USCAR), delivers a congratulatory speech at a ceremony dedicating the University of the Ryukyus' Health Sciences College Classroom Building Yogi, Naha, on Sept. 28. At right is Frank F. Nomura, interpreter, HEW, USCAR. In his speech, Dr. Jensen said the occasion "marks a most significant step in the development of facilities for the education of health manpower". He added that the College of Health Sciences will train many of the different categories of health workers essential for the health care and environmental sanitation programs in the Ryukyus and for the training of doctors and other highly skilled medical specialists on Okinawa.
