Miss Masako Oshiro, social welfare program specialist, Health, Education and Welfare Dept. (HEW), U.S. Civil Administration of the Ryukyus (USCAR) returned to Okinawa May 22 after completing a nine-month course in the field of rehabilitation workshop administration at the College of Business Administration, University of San Francisco. Miss Oshiro shows a certificate of completion to Dr. (Col.) Robert T. Jensen, director of the HEW on May 25. USCAR provided round-trip transportation and training costs for Miss Oshiro under its Technical Training Program in the United States. ≪米国民政府厚生教育局に勤めている大城昌子さんは5月22日、サンフランシスコ大学商学部で厚生指導所の管理運営に関する9ヶ月間の課程を修了し帰沖した。写真は大城さんが5月25日ロバート・T・ジェンスン厚生教育局々長に修了証書をみせているところ。なお、大城さんの往復の旅費と研修に必要な費用は技術訓練計画にもとづき民政府が負担した。≫
