WHO-SPONSORED NURSE -- Mrs. Hung-chin Wang (2nd from R), a Chinese public health nurse, who is visiting Okinawa under the sponsership[sponsorship?] of the World Health Organization (WHO), is shown inspecting one of the operating rooms at the Naha Hospital on June 24. Accompanying her are (L-R) Mrs. Yasuko Soga, chief nurse at the Naha Hospital, Mrs. Chieko Yogi, chief nurse at the Naha Nursing School, and Miss Masako Shimabukuro, public health nurse, Health, Education and Welfare Dept., USCAR. During her one-week stay on Okinawa, Mrs. Wang will observe maternal and child health, venereal disease, and tuberculosis clinics. Her tour on Okinawa is part of a 12-week tour of Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan. ≪世界保健機構（WHO）の後援で沖縄を訪れている台湾の公看フンチン・ワンさん（右から2番目）は、6月24日、那覇病院を視察、写真は同病院の手術室の一つを見るワンさん。案内しているのは（左から）蘇我やす子那覇病院看護婦長、与儀千代子那覇看護学校看護婦長および米国民政府厚生教育局島袋昌子公衆衛生看護婦。一週間の滞在中、ワンさんは母子保健、性病、結核検診状況等を視察する。沖縄訪問は12週間にわたるシンガポール、タイ、香港、韓国、日本訪問の一環として行われているもの。≫
