UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII'S Dr. Sara Gault (R), physiatrist, is examining a physically-handicapped patient in a ward of the Okinawa Central Hospital on July 32. With Dr. Gault are Sumiko Oshiro (L), hospital nurse who recently returnedom the Institute for Technical Interchange (ITI), East-West Center, Honolulu, Hawaii, following a five-month nursing program organized by the ITI, and Nobuko Bise (2nd from R), hospital nurse. Besides outpatient examination at the hospital, a staff of 13 physicians and nine supporting staff members of the University of Hawaii are conducting a post-graduate medical education program in the Ryukyu Islands sponsored by the U.S. Civil Administration of the Ryukyus (USCAR) with the cooperation or the Government of the Ryukyu Islands.
