TASTED GOOD -- Four-year-old Eiko Tazaki takes a second dose of Sabin anti-polio vaccine on a sugar cube on May 14 from Mrs. Shige Miyazato (L), chairman of the Kume Island Women's Club, one of many volunteers assisting Government of the Ryukyus and U.S. Force of the High Commissioner health officials to provide immunization for 30, 000 children of Ryukyuan and "Third Country" nationals in the islands. The vaccine, provided for the third continuous year to the Ryukyuan people by the United States, was distributed starting May 11 throughout the Ryukyus, using U.S. military helicopters and vehicles, and GRI vehicles and small boats. Kume Island is some 50 miles west of Okinawa Island.
