GRADUATION CEREMONY AT KOZA NURSING SCHOOL -- Commencement exercises of the Koza Nursing School were held at the Koza Center-Ku Public Hall, attended by 100 Ryukyuan and American officials on Tuesday, Mar. 3, 1964. Here the 45 graduates sing "Old Lang Syne" in appreciation to their alma mater and farewell to their fellow students as they hold their sheepskins. The Koza Nursing School was established in 1946 and since that time the school sent about 800 graduates into Ryukyuan society to assist in the development of the Ryukyuan Public health and welfare.

【和訳】コザ看護学校卒業式
コザ看護学校の卒業式－1964年3月3日火曜日、コザセンター区公民館でコザ看護学校の卒業式が行われた。琉米の関係者100人が出席。45名の卒業生は卒業証書を手に、母校への感謝と仲間との別れを胸に、「蛍の光」を歌った。1946年の設立以来、コザ看護学校は約800名の卒業生を送り出し、琉球の公衆衛生と福祉の発展に寄与している。
