WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION EXPERT'S PRESS CONFERENCE -- Dr. Alan H. Penington (L), Northwest Pacific Area representative who departed the Ryukyus today after a three-day visit here, warned against the danger of cholera "probably" entering the Ryukyus this year or in 1963. He also said regarding the treatment of poliomyelitis that "there is no drug whatsoever that is effective against polio" and said that there is no evidence to support any claim that Galantamin is effective against the disease.
