写真解説：
Lt. Col. R. L. Ingraham (2nd from R), commander of the 33rd Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron at Naha Air Base, was presented a framed certificate of appreciation by the Ishigaki City Fishery Cooperative Association for the squadron's heroic rescue of two Ryukyuan fishermen, Shiro and Hiroshi Tamashiro. Representing the CO-op in presenting the certificate is GRI Legislator Kunihiro Ohama (L) who represents the 31st District (Ishigaki area). The fishermen were rescued by a helicopter piloted by Capt. Rodney G. Parks and Capt. David E. Holt on April 12, 1969 about 40 miles north of Miyako Island after they had been adrift for three days. Others watching the presentation are Lt. Col. D. G. Simpson, Executive Officer of the squadron; and John M. Ohira, public safety officer, Public Safety Dept., USCAR.
【和訳】 感謝状
那覇エアベース在第33航空救助中隊司令官R・L・イングラハム中佐は、同中隊による玉城史郎、弘兄弟の救助活動に対し、石垣市漁業協同組合から感謝状を贈られた。同感謝状は、組合を代表して第31地区選出の大浜国浩立法院議員(左)から手渡された。玉城兄弟は3日間も漂流した後、4月12日、宮古島北方40哩の海上で、同中隊のバークスおよびホルト両大尉の操縦するヘリコプターによって救助された。他に感謝状贈呈式に出席したのはD・G・シンプソン中佐(同中隊行政官)とジョン・M・大平氏(民政府公安局保安係官)。
