Final inspection is made of $8,112.40 vegetable shipment leaving for Korea, the fourth in '6l. (L-R) Pfc Gordon Sammons of the USARYIS Vegetable Service, Yukio Tanaka of the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, S/Sgt Robert Hutchison of the USARYIS Vegetable Service, and Tsutomu Yonamine, representing the Okinawa Federation of Horticultural and Agricultural Cooperatives, one of the four vendors supplying the 105,360-pound shipment. Shipments are being made every two weeks until May. This shipment contained: Lettuce, 27,480 pounds; cabbage, 22,400 pounds; carrots, 21,200 pounds; radishes, 5,300 pounds; tomatoes, 16,300 pounds, and celery, 12,680 pounds. The shipment sailed February 10 on the USNS Bald Eagle.
