Allsbrook in presenting a friendship key from Wilmington City, North Carolina, U.S., to Naha City Mayor Junji Nishime (C), July 28, at the Naha City Hall. Mr. Yara was a member of the Ryukyuan public works and utilities mission which toured the United States for three months of training under the annual Ryukyuan National Leader Program (RNLP). 【和訳】 親善の鍵
那覇市役所で6月28日、米国ノースカロライナ州ウィルミントン市のO・O・オールスブルック市長からの親善の鍵を西銘順二市長に披露する琉球列島米国民政府公益事業局民間技師ヤラ・チョウイチ氏 (右から4人目) 。ヤラ氏は琉球公共事業公益事業代表団のメンバーで、国民指導員計画のもと米国で3ヶ月間の視察を行った。贈呈式は (左から)琉球電力公社技術局電気技師スナガワ・シノ氏、水道公社技師部又吉康信主任技師、西銘市長、古堅宗徳助役、屋良氏、琉球政府建設局大嶺朝健土木課長。同渡久地政広都計課長、コザ市役所宮城得信水道係長。国民指導員計画は沖縄の経済、文化、政治、社会各分野にわたる指導者を訓練する米民政府後援又は協力の継続的な10種の研修計画の一つである。
