U.S. Civil Administrator, Brig. General John G. Ondrick, today presented a decorative table centerpiece, the work of SFC Joseph C. Greco, to Chief Executive Seisaku Ota of the Government of the Ryukyu Islands. The center piece, made of style form, was presented in the name of Ryukyuan-American friendship and features a bridge of friendship flanked by the Shuri Gate and the Statue of Liberty. Holding the table centerpiece are (L to R): Sgt. Greco of the U.S. Army, Ryukyu Islands, General Ondrick and Chief Executive Ota.
【和訳】 テーブル装飾品を行政主席に贈呈
琉球列島米国民政府ジョン・G・アンドリック民政官は本日、琉球政府の大田政作行政主席に、ジョセフ・C・グレコ米陸軍1等軍曹の作品であるテーブル装飾品を贈った。彫刻刀で作られたテーブル装飾品は、琉米親善の名のもとに贈呈され、守礼門と自由の女神に隣接する友情の架け橋が特徴。テーブル装飾品を持つのは左からグレコ軍曹、アンドリック民政官、大田行政主席。
