Mrs. Perry E. Peters was presented a letter of appreciation by Mrs. Kimiyo Onaga, president, Okinawa Women's Advisory Council to the Ryukyuan-American Cultural Centers (OWAC/RACC) for her "unselfish, excellent and diligent services in the English class and women's programs" offered by the Cultural Centers. The presentation was made at a reception housing volunteer workers given by the OWAC/RACC at the Naha Ryukyuan-American Cultural Center, May 25. At center is Mrs. Sen Sho, assistant professor in home economics, University of the Ryukyus, who acted as an interpreter at the reception.

ペリー・E・ピーターズ夫人は「英語教室は婦人学級等、文化会館提供のプログラムに献身的に協力」したことを讃えられ、琉米文化会館婦人協議会(翁長君代会長)から感謝状を贈られた。贈呈式は5月25日、同婦人協議会がこれまで文館活動に協力してきた琉米の関係者を招いて那覇文化会館で催した感謝のティーパーティーの席上で行われた。中央は尚琉大助教授。
