The Ryukyuan-American Cultural Centers commemorated United Nations Day on Oct. 24. The U.N. Day program included a recorded concert of national anthems and folk songs of the world, photo exhibit - featuring the outstanding personalities and activities of the United Nations, and the headquarters of the world group in New York - a children's hour, a special movie on the U.N. and a military band concert. Photo - three-year-old Shoko Okudaira is shown playing during a U.N. Day children hour at the Naha Ryukyuan-American Cultural Center.
【和訳】 国連デーを祝う文化会館
文化会館では10月24日国連デーを祝い、国連記念日プログラムとして各国々歌、世界の民謡、国連の優れた人々の業績や、各国の国連本部の写真展、チルドレンズアワー、国連についての映画上映、軍のバンドによる演奏が催された。写真は 3才のオクダイラ・ショウコさんが那覇琉米文化会館でチルドレンズアワーの催しで演奏しているところ。
