Representatives of American women's clubs and the Tuberculosis Patients Association (Ryoyukai) are jointly cutting a ribbon marking presentation of a new car to the association. The car was purchased with $1,500 donated by the Kadena Officers' Wives' Club (KOWC) and the Fort Buckner Women's Club (FBWC); each group donated $750. It will be used by the association's personnel to make home visits to TB patients, and to assist in its anti-TB publicity campaigns and education programs.

フォート・バクナー婦人クラブと嘉手納将校婦人クラブが10月31日療友会に新車を贈った。この車は両婦人クラブがそれぞれ750ドルづつ寄付して購入したもので、那覇市内の療友会事務所で行われた贈呈式には婦人クラブ及び療友会の代表が出席した。この車は在宅治療や結核予防キャンペーンと啓蒙活動等に使われる。
