As part of their own People-to-People Program, members of the Chinen Wives' Club presented a stereophonic record player to the Naha Ryukyuan-American Cultural Center to be added to the audio equipment in the "listening corner" Oct. 14. The center maintains an extensive collection of classical records, taped English lessons, lectures, and other materials recorded in English, which is available to anyone interested. The new equipment, which includes five sets of earphones and accompanying jacks allowing for individual selections of programs, will improve listening tone quality and offer more faithful reproduction of musical recordings.
