MASTER CAPTION
The USCAR Women's Club held its regular monthly luncheon meeting at the Okinawa International Club on Feb. 9. In attendance were Mrs. Robert A. Fearey, honorary president, Mrs. William Clark, president, and many Ryukyuan and American members and guests. The luncheon was highlighted by the presentation of funds to the Ryukyuan-American Children's Foundation, to cover the cost of the schooling for children of mixed blood, and to the Judo Boosters Club. A special program at the luncheon was a display of letters and paintings from the "Nansei-En" leprosarium children. The leprosarium has received school supplies and recreational equipment from the USCAR Women's Club.
【和訳】 昼食会で南静園の子供達からおくられた手紙と絵画の展示を見る民政府婦人クラブの会員。南静園の子供達は同婦人クラブがこれまで南静園に学用品や運動用具をプレゼントしてきたことに対し感謝の気持を表すために手紙や絵画を送って来たものである。

民政府婦人クラブは去る2月9日、沖縄インターナショナルクラブで月例昼食会を催した。同月例昼食会には同婦人クラブの名誉会長であるロバート・A・フィアリー夫人とウィリアム・クラーク会長をはじめ、多数の会員及びゲストが出席した。昼食会は、混血児の学資を負担している琉米児童財団と柔道後援者クラブにする同婦人クラブの資金贈呈等で盛況をきわめた。又、昼食会では、南静園の子供たちから贈られた手紙や絵画が展示された。民政府婦人クラブはこれまで南静園の子供たちに学用品や運動用具をプレゼントしている。
