American women's club representatives, escorted by Maj. Joseph H Rapp, chief, Welfare Div., Health Education and Welfare Dept., U.S. Civil Administration of the Ryukyus, and Tomizo Oyakawa, executive director, Okinawa Social Welfare Council, visited the Nago District Welfare Office headed by Ginei Yonashiro on Dec. 15 to present 100 food baskets to needy families living in the Nago district. The representatives were Mrs. William R. McCracken, vice-president, and Mrs. John I. Graig, welfare chairman, both of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America; Mrs. William Cutter, welfare chairman, Fort Buckner Women's Club; and Mrs. Rapp, welfare chairman of the USCAR Women's Club. On the same day, the club representatives also presented toys to 43 children of the Tokumoto Nursery, Yabu-son, and toilet to all 150 aged persons at the Kosei-en at shuri, Naha. 【和訳】 マスターキャプション
