Members of the Okinawa International Women's Club have attended a series of classes on Okinawan culture and life. Classes were held at the Naha Cultural Center every Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. since Sep. 22. Professor Seimo Nakasone of the University of the Ryukyus is shown lecturing on the history of the Ryukyus in the final class on Dec. 5. At right interpreting for Prof. Nakasone is Kiyoshi Kabira of RBC. The lectures were given by experts in the field of home life, arts and crafts, music and dancing, drama, government, industry, labor, education, public health and religion in the Ryukyus.

沖縄国際婦人クラブの会員が沖縄の文化と生活に関する一連のクラスに参加した。9月22日から毎週金曜日の午前9時30分から午前11時30分まで那覇琉米文化会館で授業が行われた。12月5日の最終授業で琉球大学ナカソネ・セイモウ教授が琉球の歴史について語るところ。ナカソネ教授の通訳はRBCの川平朝清氏。講義は、琉球の家庭生活、芸術工芸、音楽と舞踊、演劇、政府、産業、労働、教育、公衆衛生、宗教の分野の専門家によって行われた。
