Civil Administrator Stanley S. Carpenter is shown planting a tree at the Okinawa Central Hospital (OCH) on Aug. 16 with Dr. Joji Arakaki, director, OCH. Mr. Carpenter inspected the progress underway in expanding the hospital's modern facilities and operations and met its staff, interns and residents. Back row (L-R) are Col. (Dr.) John P. 【和訳】 記念植樹
写真はカーペンター民政官が6月18日、中部病院で新垣院長と一緒に記念植樹をしているところ。カーペンター民政官は近代的設備と運営を誇る中部病院の発展ぶりを視察する一方、同病院の職員、インターン及びレジレントと会った。写真は後方左から、米国民政府厚生教育局長フェアチャイルド大佐(医博)、ハワイ大学顧問団のシンプソン内科医及び中山前厚生局医務部長。
