The Office of the High Commissioner today presented Genko Nakahara, a member of the Brazil Okinawans' Association, with a motion picture film depicting progress on Okinawa after World War II. The presentation of the film was held at the Office of Public Affairs, Office of the High Commissioner. Attending were (L-R) Toyotaro Maezato, chief of the emigration office, Government of the Ryukyu Islands; Genko Nakahara; Ichiro Inamine, president of Okinawa Overseas Association; Col. Willam L. Nelson, the High Commissioner's Information Coordinator; and Hiroshi Miyahira, director of the Administration office of the association.

高等弁務官事務室は本日、第二次世界大戦後の沖縄の歩みを描いた映画を、ブラジル沖縄県人会のナカハラ・ゲンコウ氏に贈呈した。贈呈式は高等弁務官室の広報室で行われた。出席者は左から、真栄里豊太郎琉球政府移住課長、ナカハラ・ゲンコウ氏、稲嶺一郎沖縄海外協会会長、ウィラム・ネルソン高等弁務官情報担当官、同協会の宮平弘志同協会事務局長。
