Between them is Edward A. Wiesinger, director, USCAR Labor Dept., who mediated the dispute. The agreement provides that a basic minimum monthly wage guarantee of 160 hours will apply to both regular and temporary KSC employees Some 1,300 workers are employed by KSC which has a stevedore contract with the U.S. Army for cargo handling operations at military ports at Naha, White Beach, and Tengan, Okinawa. These employees are represented by Gunkowanro.
