Fifty-two Junior engineering students and three of their instructors from the University of the Ryukyus received a six-week training course with units of the U.S. Army, Ryukyu Islands, and the U.S. Army Engineer District. Fifteen of the students received training in the maintenance shop of the U.S. Army Ordnance Group, six with Signal Group, three with quartermaster Group, twelve with the Engineer Group, four with the Transportation Group and fifteen with U.S. Army Engineer District. This was the second annual training program for local students. 【和訳】 米陸軍の施設で研修を受ける琉大生達
琉球大学の学生52名と講師3名が在沖米陸軍各部隊、及び在琉米陸軍地区工兵隊で、6週間にわたる研修を受けた。15名はオーデナンス部隊、6名はシグナル部隊、3名はQM、12名はエンジニア部隊、4名は輸送部隊、15名はエンジニア・ディストリクトでそれぞれ研修を受けた。これは2回目の研修計画である。写真は通信隊で通信機械を習う電気工学部3年の山内君(左)と町田君(右)。
