was presented to ■■■, 6, of ■■■ by the Ginowan Lions Club at the Okinawa Central Hospital, Sept. 15. The Pediatric and Rehabilitation services at the hospital designed the special apparatus to hold her head erect. The little girl has residual partial paralysis resulting from an illness she had in June, The treatment at the hospital has improved her condition and she has now returned home to her grateful parents, Mr, and Mrs. Gensuke Takara. 9月15日中部病院にて、女児(6才)の特注の車椅子が宜野湾ライオンズクラブより贈られた。同病院の小児科とリハビリテーションサービスは、彼女の頭を直立に保つように特別な装置を設計した。小さな女の子は、彼女が6月にかかっていた病気の後遺症で半身不随を起こし、同病院で治療を受けていたものであるが、この度、経過が良くなり去る9月20日に退院した。写真は左から、ハワイ大学派遣スタッフで小児科のローエル・ウイス博士、中部病院実習医知念清氏(座っている)、宜野湾ライオンズクラブ会長ビル・モーリス氏、同クラブ福祉委員長ジン・パーカー氏、同クラブ第一副会長ウィリアム・E・マチェット氏、及び中部病院スタッフ識名内科医である。
