写真解説：

Photo taken the day after the attack reveals that seven military warehouses, lower left, were burnt to the ground and that 50% of the buildings in the military barracks group in the upper left were destroyed. Fires spread through the town and gutted 90% of the commercial district, 80% of the warehouse district, on the waterfront, 25% of the residential district and a boat building yard.
【和訳】 敵施設の火災。機動部隊の航空機による空爆後の様子。奄美大島の古仁屋の町にて。空母ヨークタウン(CV-10)の艦載機から撮影。

写真は、翌日の様子。軍用倉庫7棟（左下）が焼け落ち、兵舎の50%（左上）が破壊された。火災は町に広がり、沿岸部にある商業地区の90%と倉庫地区の80%が焼けた。さらに、住宅地区の25%と造船所が焼失した。
