RYUKYUAN HANDICRAFT EXHIBIT AND SPOT SALE was held at the Naha Ryukyuan-American Cultural Center in Yogi, June 6 and 7 to encourage improved skills and techniques in the handicraft industry and to expand markets. More than 2,300 items including textiles, knitwork, dyed-works, pouches, artificial flowers, accessories, and dolls were exhibited at the fourth annual exhibit and spot sale which was held under the auspices of the Okinawa Handicraft Production Promotion Association, and GRI Labor Dept. with coordination of the Okinawa Women's Federation, the Okinawa Mother-Child Welfare Center and the Okinawa Women's Advisory Committee to the Ryukyuan-American Cultural Center.

手工芸業界の技術の向上を促し市場を拡大するため、6月6日と7日に那覇琉米文化会館で琉球手工芸品の展示即売会が行われた。 沖縄婦人連盟、沖縄母子福祉センター、琉米文化会館沖縄婦人協議会の連携により琉球政府労働局と沖縄手工芸生産推進協会の後援で開催された第4回展示販売会では、織物、ニット、染め物、袋物、造花、アクセサリー、人形など2,300点以上が展示された。
