Keith Nakasone, team captain of Kubasaki High School, fights a member of the Hokubu Norin High School during the tournament. ≪トーナメント一回戦で北農チームの選手と対戦する久場崎チームのキャプテンケイス・ナカソネ選手。≫
The American Dependent Kubasaki High School judoists participated in the 20th inter-high school judo tournament held at the GRI Police Gymnasium in Naha on Sept. 19. The tournament was sponsored by the Okinawa Judo Association, with 20 teams competing. The Kubasaki team took on the Hokubu Norin (agricultural) and Naha Kogyo (industrial) High School teams in the first and second rounds, defeating the Okinawan teams, but lost to a team from the Okinawa Kogyo High School in the quarter finals. The Kogyo team won the championship. ≪高校柔道大会に久場崎米人高校も出場 - 沖縄柔道連盟主催による高校柔道大会が、去る9月19日、琉球警察の武徳殿で行われ、20校の代表チームが参加した。久場崎米人高校チームは、一回戦、二回戦で北部農林及び那覇工業両チームを敗り、三回戦で沖縄工業と対戦したが、おしくも敗れ、優勝への道を断たれた。沖縄工業チームが優勝の栄冠をかちとった。≫
