KEYS FOR NEW MUSEUM - Joseph S. Evans Jr. (4th from L), director, Public Affairs Dept. (PAD), U.S. Civil Administration of the Ryukyu Islands (USCAR), is shown Sept. 27 presenting keys of new building of the Government of the Ryukyu Islands (GRI) Museum, to Shigeru Chinen (next to Mr. Evans), chief, Instruction Div., Education Dept. (ED), GRI, in front of the building located near the old Shuri museum. The total cost of the construction is approximately $356,000 of which $317,000 has been provided by the United States, and $39,000 by the GRI. The museum is scheduled to open on Nov. 3.
