(L-R) Sherrod East, Mrs. Donald M. Agrimson and Mrs. Teruko Maeshiro were served tea at a Japanese tea ceremony performed on May 25 by the students of the Fuhaku School of Omote Senke, in honor of Ryukyuan and American volunteer workers assisting the Ryukyuan-American Cultural Center in Naha, Okinawa. Mr. East, former Assistant Archivist of the United States, Washington D. C., will return to the U.S. on June 4 after completing his duties as consultant to USCAR for the development of a disposition plan for USCAR's records after reversion of U.S. administration of the Ryukyus to Japan.

5月25日、那覇琉米文化会館で表千家不白流の門弟によって行なわれたお茶の会に招かれた(左より)シャロッド・イースト氏、ドナルド・M・アグリムソン夫人、前城照子夫人。お茶会は琉米文化会館の活動に協力してきた関係者に謝意を表するため、琉米文化会館婦人協議会が主催したものである。イースト氏(元ワシントンD.C. 在米国立記録保管所長補佐)は、日本復帰後の民政府の記録処理計画を作成する顧問としての任務を終え、6月4日に帰国することになっている。
